Bleeding Hemorrhoids : Non surgical hemorrhoid treatment you need to know
Bleeding Hemorrhoids : Internal hemorrhoids are harder to detect than external hemorrhoids because they are not as painful and visible as external hemorrhoids.Leaving an internal hemorrhoid untreated is dangerous to your health. One of the first symptom for internal hemorrhoids is the blood after a bowel movement on your toilet paper or in the toilet. One of the first things you have to do is visit your doctor, and he will be able to confirm if you have a hemorrhoid. If you can`t or don`t want to visit your doctor you can use some alternative treatments youcan use to get rid of your hemorrhoids. The first thing you need if you have hemorrhoids, is changing your diet. Avoid constipation because this will only harm your hemorrhoids. To avoid constipation you should drink more fluids and eat more fiber like: fresh fruits, whole grains, beans and vegetables like: carrots, cabbage, asparagus and brussels sprouts. You should avoid meat, ice cream, cheese and processed food. Along with this, there are some treatments that can help you get rid of hemorrhoids. Other things you can do is drink fruits and vegetable juice and daily exercise. It`s very important to learn the best cleaning techniques. Wiping with toilet paper can irritate the hemorrhoids and your skin. The best method to clean the area around your anus is taking a shower without using soap, because the soap might irritate. After taking a shower you should use a blow dryer set on light warm or cool. If you don`t have a blow dryer you should try using baby wipes, but try not to scrub the area. When you are on the toilet avoid sitting for more than five minutes because you will put to much pressure on your pelvic and abdominal muscles. If you are not done in five minutes stand up and try later. Avoid reading paper, talking on the phone or watching TV. When you are in pain you should try sitz bath. To do this fill a bathtub with warm water and stay there for about 10 minutes. Avoid using hot water, because this will injure the tissues around the anus. After a sitz bath you should put some baby powder on your anus , and some cotton to absorb moisture.Another thing you can do is use ice to calm the pain. Apply an ice pack on the anal area 4 to 5 times a day.
